yapuso

Behind the project is the dream of travelling, or more precisely, the idea of being able to organise long trips more easily and centrally. As a platform for all phases of a trip, yapuso offers tools for planning, as well as for recording impressions and reflections on experiences during or after a trip.

Based on the requirements, we created an MVP in a very short time, which serves as the basis for future enhancements. You can get an impression at yapuso.com.

Users can define a trip with several waypoints, create a checklist and notes. During the trip, diary entries can be recorded, photos uploaded and shared with friends or family via an anonymous link. Trips can also be shared directly with other yapuso users, especially fellow travellers benefit from this feature. A setting to hide content guarantees privacy.

The web application uses PayloadCMS as a backend and React/React Router as a frontend in SSR mode with TailwindCSS, ShadCN UI components and a light/dark mode theme. The app is currently available in 5 languages. In addition, there is a landing page as a separate frontend project that draws content from the same backend and can be managed through it.
