OpenOlitor member portal is live
March 15th, 2017
In community-supported agriculture (CSA), consumers get regional, seasonal vegetables at a fair price in return for a long-term purchase commitment. Most CSA initiatives are small, and they face similar administrative hurdles. Their day-to-day operations are complex. The OpenOlitor software helps CSA initiatives manage their administrative processes.
OpenOlitor consists of an admin portal and a member portal. Since March 2017, members of the CSA initiative soliTerre have had access to the member portal, where they can record absences and pause deliveries. Later on, they'll also be able to update their personal details and log their work shifts.
Further development of OpenOlitor
In mid-2017, Tegonal will start development work on extending OpenOlitor. The extension mainly covers support tools to help CSA initiatives administer OpenOlitor. Extensions to subscription management and ordering are also planned.
The Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) has committed to funding 50% of the remaining project costs. We're delighted with this decision and will contribute another substantial share of the funding through our own work.
