Web-App
Tool for visualising and controlling processes
The Swiss Parks Network is committed to the protection, sustainable development and promotion of Switzerland's parks. It supports collaboration between the individual parks, promotes the exchange of experiences and represents their interests at the national level.
Part of this commitment is to make it easier for the parks to record processes and procedures using a web application. The tool to be replaced enables park employees to easily put together their processes from a set of workflow symbols. The new tool should maintain the same type of display, but be more future-proof and based on modern technology.
To do this, we added our own UI components to the headless CMS Payload, which display visually configurable flowchart elements in the UI. In a dashboard-like overview, the park employees can easily grasp all the processes and the overarching structure. The application is in use in all parks, is managed centrally by the network as a multi-tenant application and is multilingual.
The IMS tool has been published as an open-source project under the MIT licence on GitHub and can therefore be further developed and adapted by others to suit their own needs.
