Our Support for OpenSource Projects and NGOs
Towards the end of 2023, Tegonal has once again financially supported a number of open source projects and initiatives, as well as some of the many NGOs that provide much needed work in these complicated times. The team has discussed proposals and together we have selected the following projects to be supported with a total of 5'000 swiss francs.
- OpenArms: Because every human life matters.
- SOLIFONDS: In solidarity, for social justice – worldwide!
- Berner Beratungsstelle für Sans-Papiers: This Bern based NGO supports the most vulnerable members of our local society.
- QGIS: A GIS application with a very active community.
- fp-ts: A library for typed functional programming in TypeScript.
- grapheneOS: A free and open OS for mobile devices with a strong focus on security.
- Neovim: Vim Editor for 2024. Yes, some of us use Vim.
- NixOS Cache: Storage and bandwidth for an OS cost money. We gladly help to cover the expenses.
- archive.org: The Internet Archive helps us to remember.
- Godot Engine: OSS Game-Engine, for the fun and the enjoyment.
